Mini Metamorphasis

Taking baby steps into Met Monday... I'm moving and my new kitchen is going to be a no-oak zone, so I have been giving some small items a teeny update. Here is one:

I like it better, and it will look so much nicer with this:

I'm not sure exactly where they are going, but they will be coordinated! Happy Monday everyone!

Very pretty update. I probably need to do that to some of the bright gold frames in my house.

There's nothing like a coat of black paint to update a frame. Have fun with your new kitchen!

I've recently fallen in love with dark furnishings, too! My Asian heritage is coming alive more in me and I've slowly changed out my furniture into the darker shades and more Asian looks.

Great job!

Love the "no oak zone" idea! I am not a fan of oak either, I prefer darker woods or painted surfaces. Love the little shelf!

Yep, the black frame looks great! Isn't it amazing what paint can do? I love the shelf and is that a pink piece of depression glass? Love it! I want to follow your blog and see your new home! We are about to get a new kitchen and I love blogging so I can get ideas from those that have gone before me!
