I checked out some post Christmas clearance sales but didn't find much good to pick from this year. I got a couple boxes of copper and cream glass ornaments at 70% off, but when I took everything down and bagged up my existing ornaments, I realized my collection has gotten a bit out of control:
I may be needing a few more storage totes.

I went looking for deals after Christmas too,but came home empty handed. We couldn't find any thing we liked. I am hoping to find something at yard sales this summer. Sounds like you got some great deals.
Oh, I know what you mean!! I actually look forward to getting everything back in order, but I hate taking away all the warm lights and cozy accents of Christmas. I cannot take anything down until after Three Kings Day this week, but it is always fun to change things up! Happy NewYear to you!!
It does look empty after the Christmas decor is down...this year I packed my everyday pieces in the bins that held the Christmas things, so I know where to put them. But I am sure I'll rearrange and soon it will be cluttered again! lol!
No sales for me this year being under the weather. And I really purged some old and broken ornaments in December so I DO have room. Well, there is always next year!
