My Filthy Kitchen!

I got in my house Monday to see what has been happening, since we are just 10 days from the "reveal". My kitchen is now all in place, and it is exactly like I pictured it, except for the dirt!

I really can't wait to install the backsplash. I'm going with something like this:I love the old tin ceiling style of it and I think the metallic finish will add a lot. I'm having a hard time deciding on the wall color though. I make up my mind and change it a couple times a day! I need to find an accent piece - art or a platter or something - for above the sink and something to hang along the soffit.

Oh Tracey those cabinets are gorgeous!!! I LOVE the idea of the tin backsplash. What color are you going to go with for that?? I've seen them at Home Depot in so many different styles and colors and I just fell in love with them. Can't wait to see it up! ~Kim

Your kitchen is beautiful, you are really going to enjoy spending time cooking in there. I think the tin backsplash is a wonderful choice, I just love the look of it. You have a great size kitchen, I cannot wait to see it all put together.

By the way, my cloche stand was that color when I purchased it. I got it an a little knick knack shop. I was so excited when I found it because it matched two of my cake stands.

Tracey, I"m just enjoying this 'walk with you" so much!
I love the tin tiles. I've played around with the same idea of installing it as a back splash, but hubbs is soooo not on board with that one, lol!
