It's Outdoor Wednesday, hosted by Susan at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com. I didn't expect to have a post today, but I found a surprise when I went by my new house after work Tuesday.
My little house has got her new outfit on, the siding was installed today! Many finishing touches remain to be done in the next 17 days before settlement! This is not the final version of how the house will look, the white trim will be painted to match the siding and the shutters and door are going to be a dark red color.
They also filled in the utility trenches, but left a very large dirt pile in front of the garage. Right now, I'm looking forward to seeing them put the deck on out back. I'm all set to move in on the first day of spring, and I'm hoping for dry weather!

On March 26th it will be exactly 10 years that we moved into our newly built home. You are right Tracy - it was a wonderful time to move in - the very beginning of Spring! I wish you so much happiness in your new home. You must be bursting with excitement right now! ~Kim
What an exciting time for you! Hope all goes well. Have a great day!

That's exciting! That dirt pile look so yummy for plants!
Hope to see the finished patio soon!
How exciting! I need some of the dirt to fill in a few spots in my backyard..
Oh fun! Exciting that it is coming along. Happy OW!
I had a dream we moved in! I was with Dani in her room and she's like, uh oh, pee on the carpet. And I'm like, we just moved, what peed on the carpet? And she looked at me like I was crazy before explaining calmly that the camels were to blame.
Of course.
ANYWAY I think that means I'm excited.
A brand spanking new house! How fun for you. Can you stand the wait?
I'm excited for you.

I just cannot believe how fast they are working on your new home. It seems just like yesterday that you showed us the empty lot. Wow, it really looks good.
You must be thrilled! It's almost time to be sitting out on your own deck having a cool drink and enjoying YOUR place. Congrats. Kathy
Now that is exciting-- seeing your new home get closer and closer to being move-in ready.
Think of the dirt pile as potential landscaping!
Can't wait to see what happens inside, when you move in and begin decorating. Good luck!
