Fall in the Dining Room

I wasn't sure how to decorate this room for fall since I painted it aqua, but it turned out to be pretty easy using a natural palette.  I do have a few Halloween touches such as the placements (from Target, love them) but everything else works until the week after Thanksgiving.

Hope you are having a nice weekend!

Oh my, I always have such home envy when you post! This looks just beautiful! It's seasonal yet still sophisticated and elegant. You should be an interior designer. Rx

I just love your dining room and your fall decorations on your table look perfect with the colors you have. I love the urn with branches in the background and the pumpkin under the cloche is very neat!

Happy Fall weekend!

Jane

Tracy,

I saw your post on Lisa's blog (aka west) asking if the frozen coconut has a different taste from regular. I have had this cake a number of times and have made it, too. I grew up eating homemade handgrated coconut cake. Everyone used to rave about my grandmother's coconut cake, but when Nancy served this, Lisa and I went wild. So did everyone else in the room. It was THAT good. It's very creamy and delicious... there is no way to describe how good it is. I was shocked when Nancy told us to use frozen coconut, but the cake is so yummy you want to eat the whole thing. It really is that dangrous. LOL!

On a different note, I love the color of your DR. It's so fresh and pretty. Your table decor strikes the perfect note. Good choice.

XO,

Sheila

I thought I saw this post, but am now thinking it was just a photo from the other day. My head is spinning.

Your fall decor is gorgeous, as always. :) No idea how you find the time to do it all, but you do.
