Yardsale Toolbox Makeover

I found a little toolbox for $1 at a yard sale.  Though it was sporting a cute patriotic paint job, I decided to give it a little makeover to use on my back deck this summer.

I found this hanging cone shaped basket at a little roadside plant shop, and it was prettier than anything I'd seen at the nurseries I've been haunting.  I haven't posted in forever, but I've been working on lots of projects, more to come (sooner or later!)  Have a safe and happy Memorial Day!

I like the americana, but painting it white really did the trick! Love it! The cone basket really adds to the flowers...looks like a "giant flowery snow cone"! So says my grand-daughter who's standing next to me! :-)

Great makeover. It was ok, but now it's adorable. Love the flowers.

Do you have a specific day on which you post? I keep visiting, but there's nothing new...

Yep, I like it in white so much better!
Thanks for your kind comment on my "chocolate" coffee table.
